Current configuration is about 140 AP-205's privisioned to a pair of 7210 controllers running 6.4.4.12

Looking at upgrading a little more than half of these current 205's to AP-305 so we can start utilizing Aruba's blue-tooth low-energy RTLS for IV pumps, high-dollar medical equipment, etc

What do I need to consider when swapping APs out?  Such as, will I need a new AP profile due to the difference in radios?

    Thanks for the assistance!

The first thing you would need to do is pull up the datasheet for the AP-305 to see the minimum version of ArubaOS code that will be necessary:  https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjKkInis-HVAhXkzlQKHYCFCdYQFggpMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.arubanetworks.com%2Fassets%2Fds%2FDS_AP300Series.pdf&usg=AFQjCNGOSqT4VtjlCLjfOdZsUFMVJ0CvYQ

The minimum for the 305 is 6.5.1.0, so you will have to upgrade your controller to that version.

Unless you have devices that are really sensitve to roaming like VOIP  hardware phones, there is no real need to create specific profiles, imho.  They can run with the existing profiles.

We are running Cisco 7925G wireless phones that do very well with the current radio profiles.

There honestly should be no big difference with those two access points.
