We currently have VIA working with a single connection profile and using CPPM as our authentication server. CPPM successfully authenticates the user and returns a different role to the controller depending on the user AD Group Membership. This all works great.
Now we would like to introduce an additional VIA connection profile for domain laptops, so that we can run logon/logoff scripts, disallow users from closing the client, and do domain pre-connect. In theory, the connection profile should get pushed based on the user role, but this is not happening for us. What I have discovered is that the client is actaully getting whatever connection profile is assigned to the VIA Authentication Profile 'Default Role', in this case it is the default-via-role.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with using multiple connection profiles with VIA, or any suggestions.
Thanks.
