VLAN 1 on MC620

    How can we delete  VLAN 1 on Aruba 620 controller ?? i am trying to delete this VLAN but it is unable to delete.

    Thanks vfabian for your quick response.

    The controller is also telling me the same that VLAN 1 can not be deleted, but i want to know why it can not be deleted :-p

    That's the default VLAN of the controller

    I think you need to create another vlan and assign that to the relevant ports.

    Ya Steve I have already done the same and its working fine.
    But I just want to know why we can't delete VLAN1 from this specific controller, although if i am not wrong we can delete VLAN from 3000 series controller,

    This is the default VLAN on any controller and you won't able to detele it on any Aruba controllers including 3000.

     

    I performed this on a 3600

     

    (feld-3600-master) (config) #no vlan 1
Error: VLAN 1 cannot be deleted
(feld-3600-master) (config) #
