VRF Plan/Wall mounted AP

    Hello all,

     

    If anyone can point me in the right direction, your help would be greatly appreciated.

     

    I have been reading the VRDs and posts on here, but I cannot seem to find a decent explanation of how to handle the deployment of access points that are mounted on walls. We generally deploy the AP105 access point and if I am correct, it is optimized for ceiling deployments? If this AP is mounted on a wall, how does it differ in coverage compared to mounting on a ceiling? Is there anyway of getting VRF Plan to display a heatmap for wall mounted AP105s? If it doesn't, how can I visualize the heatmap?

    There is no way to simulate a wall mounted AP in VRF. I agree that would be a useful feature.
