VRRP IP addressing for aruba controllers

    question about VRRP on aruba controllers and ip addresses usage.  for example two 7205 controllers is it possible to create a VRRP instance on this pair and have the real ip also be the VIP?  so i would only require two ip addresses instead of three ?

    You can create a VRRP between the two providing they are in the same L2 domain, the VRRP address must be a unique address.

     

    This IP address must be different from the VLAN interface IP address on which the virtual router is configured.
