Vlan pooling

    Hi, can someone please tell me how to configure the vlan pooling. I have one controller acting as a default gateway and four switches connected to the controller. The plan is to configure one ssid for over 1000 users

    The basic definition of VLAN pooling is to:

     

    - Define two or more user VLANs within the controller

    - Put two or more of those VLANs into the Virtual AP parameter so that users are load balanced into those VLANs.

     

    There is nothing more to it than that.

    Please check this Validated Reference Design document about the possibilities of using a single VLAN instead of VLAN pooling: http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Validated-Reference-Design/Single-VLAN-Architecture-for-WLAN/ta-p/257196

     

    In many cases VLAN pooling is the less desirable solution.
