Weird SSID

Screen Shot 2012-02-17 at 12.25.45 PM.png

I notice that some of the computers are connected to ssid 172.16.8.115:0/1. I do not know what ssid is that as i do not set that up. That IP address is the IP of one of my AP and those computers are connected to that AP

That means the client is connected to the wired port of the AP with that ip address.  For example 172.16.8.115:0/1 is ethernet port 1 of AP125.

Re: Weird SSID

my question is why it is not showing the ssid it is connected to? I had to disconnect the AP and restart it again so that it is working fine again

Re: Weird SSID

A wired port is not an SSID.  That is why.  You have devices connected to the wired port of an AP.  That wired port is untrusted and puts all of the traffic coming through that wired port into the logon role.

Re: Weird SSID

Please open a TAC case to determine your issue.

The user entry indicates a wired device on ethernet 1 of your AP.  If you do not have anything connected, you should open a TAC case.
