Will changing the AP System Profile LMS "RF Band" do anything unexpected on a live environment?

We currently have a good quantity of AP93H APs deployed.  Since these APs are only single mode, we created another AP Group, replicating the original one, and chagned the LMS "RF Band" to "a".  We did this since we were not sure if changing this setting on the live AP Group was going to do anything with the current live environment.

I've done research and testing and it seems that nothing unexpected happens to the live environment when changing this setting, except for placing the single mode APs on the "a" radio.

I just want to cross my Ts to make sure here.  Thanks.

    It only changes the band...

Will it change anything on the dual Radio/mode APs in the live environment or does it affect only the single mode/radio APs?

It only affects single-radio access points that are in the AP groups attached to the AP system profile that you are changing.

    Just to make things sure.

Any given AP can belong to only one AP Group at a time. There is only one AP System profile per AP group in which we can set RF Band either /a or /g. Another RF band setting is in VAP where we can choose (RF Allowed band) from /a, /g or both.

Which RF band setting will influence real RF band of dual-radio AP?

The AP system profile band is used to control single radio APs.  If you have all dual-band APs, that setting is irrelevant (AFAIK).

The VAP RF setting is used by all APs.

So, if you set the AP system profile to "a" and the VAP to both, a dual-radio AP will use both.  A single radio AP will use "a".
