We have a weird problem. Our customer has an Aruba IAP 205 netwrok running the ltest version for firmware. When the tablets running Windows 8.1 cannot join the domain on an SSID. Some SSID's use 802.1x some use a PSK the problem is the same on both.

There is no security policy on the SSID.

When the cusotmer connects to the network using a wire or a Netgear AP then they can join the no problem.

From the tablet they can ping the DC and also get a DNS resolution when look for the DC using NSLOOKUP. They can access _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.aaaaaaaaaa.internal from any SSID (I have replaced the cusotmer name with aaaaaaaaaa)

Do you have broadcast filtering enabled on that SSID?

Yes under broadcast filtering ARP filtering is on.

Try turning it off and see if that fixes it.

Wait.  Broadcast filter ARP should not have any effect; only broadcast filter all.

I asked the customer to turn off ARP broadcast filtering but nothing has changed.

Please turn it back on and open a TAC case if you have not done so already.
