    Hello

I need help for a project

The plan is to give 1000 clients internet access for a two day meating.

We have a 10Gb Internet access, that we need to transfer 30 meters over wlan Point to Point with 6 AP 325. And then transfer it over the switchs and controler to the APs 8 x 225 and then to the clients.

    Can this concept work ?

They only need internet access, nothing else
pro client 2 or 3 mb will be great

The AP-32x do not support mesh so there's no way to bridge between 3 pairs of 325s. There is no WLAN solution, even with three PtPs that will get you 10Gb links without moving to very expensive licensed solutions.

Why not run a fiber cable over this 30-40m distance? you can run it inside protected conduit either on the ground or strand over the space using temporary masts (esp if it's just for 2 days). Otherwise, you will need to look at licensed solutions for the mesh backhaul PtP.

Also, if you want to try to use AP-277s or 274+ANT-2x2-5314 antennas for the PtP backhaul, you can. A few caveats.

    * Max throughput with VHT80 is around 600-750Mbps per PtP link

    * You will have to be able to deploy in an area that will allow you to use UNI1, UNI2/2E, and UNI3 outdoors AND the air be clean enough to consume all the 5Ghz spectrum with 3-4 80Mhz channels (not very likely so you will have interference that will drop the max throughput)

    * We don't officially support the use of multiple PtPs to 'etherchannel' a link, though we have heard of cases where this was done. YMMV

    Thx for the fast answer

we cant take a fiber cable becaouse we need to go over train trucks ....

There is no AP for a point to pint connection ?

we dont need 10 GB, 2 or 3 GB on the other side would be enough

The fastest PtP we support would be up to 750Mbps at that distance. You could try to LAG/Etherchannel a couple PtPs together, but it will consume all the 5GHz space AND it's not officially suported by Aruba so it may work or may not work.

The most throughput/goodput you will likely find from us would be approx 750Mbps for a single PtP, and applies to most any single 11ac mesh link.

Thx, so the PtP solution will not work...

than we need to find a solution with the fiber to connect us to the switch

    Can i use 8 x AP 225 for 1000 Clients ? 2 or 3 Mb for a client of bandwitch ?

    2 x OAW4010  controlers

it will be a tent with the dimensions 30 x 50 meters

You will need to only enable 2.4Ghz on the outer corners of the tent, disable 2.4Ghz everywhere else (the inner 4 APs), so that gives you approx 12 radios for 1000 users, so you'rel ooking at approx 100 users per AP. You will either need to mount them lower over the crowd or on the sides to let the people attenuate the RF.

    My idea.

You need around 2-3Gbit of internet feed.

If you create at least three vlan's on the left switch and right switch and connect the ptp so that you have one vlan per ptp. This way you can at least get 3 x 750Mbit of bandwidth. Use vlan pooling to load balance the users over the three vlan's.

It won't be 3gbit but around 2.2gbit. You won't run into issues with LAG over wireless.

Assuming you have enough clean spectrum to use, that works too.
