I've got a interesting issue in my lab, and i don't know if it's normal behavior or not.
There is a CPPM running, and EAP MSCHAPv2 is selected as authentication method under my service.
If i test the radius server profile with #aaa test-server mschapv2 <server> <user> <password> or over the gui, the controller trys allways to use MS-CHAP-Challenge
The access tracker on clearpass side, shows no authentication method.
If i use MSCHAP instead EAP MSCHAPv2 as authentication method in the CP service, it works.
The interesting thing is, the controller checkbox MSCHAPv2 is ticked but the request on clearpass says that MSCHAP is used.
Is this normal, and I understand something wrong?
Or is this an error that the button MSCHAPv2 uses MSCHAP instead MSCHAPv2?
