ap image preload failed result code 255

    I decided to try the ap image preload feature ahead of a controller code upgrade. I attempted to use it on a M3mk1 with 4 APs in a test group. It failed. It also says (in the GUI) that to retry it, I need to reload the controller (WAT?). Here's what I see in the CLI now. Any idea what result code 255 means?

    Did you already upload the code to the controller and is that the partition that is listed as "default boot"?  (type show image version)

    Had the same issue and 255 error code with 1 AP 105 when preloading 6.4.3.7 from 6.4.3.5.

     

    Rebooting just the AP itself solved the issue (while the controllers were still at 6.4.3.5). Since this was the only AP out of many to fail preloading at all, I didn't pursue it further.
