Is there a command to view the number of active APs per controller?

show ap database-summary only gives me a total number.

    Give this a shot.

    (Lab_Master_7024) #show ap database switch <IPADDRESS>

ya, i've used that before.  show ap database switch "ip" | include Total gives me what i'm looking for with a little more typing. It would be a pain if I had more than 4 controllers...

Not sure what you mean by 'active' as looking at the database totals also includes APs that are down.

    show license-usage ap

is another way to see how many APs are up that is a bit less stress on the fingers/keyboard.

I have 2 HA pair setup and one pair is having an issue with LACP timeouts. When they timeout, the APs move over to the secondary controller.

I want to see how many "up" APs are currently assiciated to each controller without looking at a list and counting them manually.

    Ah ok, maybe this then:

show ap active | include Num

    and possibly helpful as well

show ap standby | include Num
