On a Aruba 7030 controller I set the dhcp server with the option:

    60 text ArubaAP

    43 text <ip of master>

The Ap boot and obtain the corrent ip and from the logs I can see:

    DHCP OPT 43, len:14, buf:<ip of master>

But after this the Ap became a master because doesn't contact the controller. If I connect to Ap through Web GUI I can't find the ip of master.

    What is wrong?

    Thanks

"But after this the Ap became a master"

    What does that mean?

The Ap doesn't find the controller and so the Ap is a controller.

How is the AP a controller? Is it an IAP?

    No it's a controller-managed AP.

    The Aps are new.
