Hi,
I am seeing always channel busy above 70 in controller dashboard for some AP's which only one or two clents attached, What could be wrong, and what's noise floor.
Thanks
Channel busy is how much airtime is consumed by activity, whether it be legitimate traffic or interference. If the noise is also in the "red" (-70 or -60), that indicates interference that you need to investigate. I would turn that AP into a Spectrum Monitor to investigate http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/ArubaOS-and-Mobility-Controllers/How-to-Change-an-Aruba-AP-into-a-Spectrum-Monitor-Video-2-54/m-p/18904/highlight/true#M776
Thanks Joseph, interference reading shows as 20 in the dashboard. If an AP changed to spectrum monitor, will it serve the user for network connectivity.
If you have an AP93, AP105 or AP135 you can enable hybrid spectrum monitoring in the Radio Profile and it will allow you to continue serving clients:
You can then look at the access point in the spectrum dashboard:

Enabling this setting cause the AP to reboot ???
no.
HI Joseph,
I have a few AP's in the channell busy section as 90%. none high in noise at all and there are no clients assocatied with them, any ideas?
Thanks.
That could mean that there is too many access points in a physical area, or maybe there is an out of band interferrer.
