client not getting ip address if we have ipv6 network

Hi

We have the controller running 6.2 version. We are using vlan dual stack on the network for vlan 30. The client is not getting ipv4 address but whereas client getting ipv6 address.

Is there any known issue for this or is it a normal behavior that client will not get ipv4 address if we have same vlan in ipv6 also ?

Thanks in advance

Does the client have a link-local IPv6 address (fe80) or an address in your public IPv6 space?

It has link-local ipv6 address.

Are you trying to use DHCPv6 or SLAAC?

The client will get a link-local address without any layer 3 connectivity further up in the network. It sounds like there may be other layer 3 connectivity issues with the controller.

Where do your layer 3 interfaces live?
