adding a new local controller that is a 7220 running 6.4.2 and I cannot disable Control PLane Security. Its greyed out. I am thinking this is why I cannot see the new local from the Master. Any ideas?

Is CPSec enabled on Master? Do you have the same code on every controller?
    Regards,

    - Control Plane Security is enabled/disabled at the master

    - You cannot enable/disable it at the local

    - If the local never contacted the master, either because of a bad PSK or other reasons, it will not show up in the master, AND you will not be able to change the Control Plane Security Status.

It is supposed to be the ip address and a preshared key, NOT the MAC of the master:

Please see here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_63_Web_Help/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/Adding_Local_Switches/Moving_to_a_Multi__Envir.htm on how to configure a PSK for a local controller and a master controller.

Thanks for level of detail. I performed the inital controller steps and it didn't work using the mac address of the master. Instead, used your notes and it worked!

    Thanks!
