    Hi Airheads experts,

I would like to ask for your help regarding syslog messages.

Is there a syslog message type which send a syslog message periodicaly if the controller is up?

We'd like to analyze this with a loganalyzer.
If the message come, the controller is up.
If the message doesn't come, the controller is down. Naturally there will be some threshold value.

Thank you in advanced for your reply!

Why not just ping the controller?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

The monitoring server is another segment than the controller, and they want to serparete from that. But the customer collect the logs and we think why can not we use this information.
