You can adjust/set max power within the configuration of the AP group or do an ap-specific setting to set the minimum power for ARM up to 36dB (the AP will not go that high, but effectively that will max out the AP power). If you are not using ARM, you can just set the max EIRP in the AP radio profile.

Be aware that if you set it to max power that your still limited by your clients transmit abiliities. The AP can be talking very loudly and if the client only whispers back then the AP doesn't hear the response.

Most of the time the AP has a stronger receive sensitivity as well as better antennas. So it will still most likely hear the client. The biggest drawback in increasing the power is that other clients will not hear the client and might start talking at the same time. This is called Hidden Node. This causes collisions and retries.

Also increasing the cell size makes a larger collision domain. Everything within that radius is all on the same channel and sharing bandwidth.

be carful while playing with power know what is your clients power to avoid power mismatch issues I had issues before with maxing power that makes IP Phones work ver bad but when I adjust the power setting everything work like magic
