Hi hot deploy mesh IAP (different models)? have to create multiple virtual controller ? For example, there is already a IAP 105 virtual controller with 16 IAP105, then now want to add more 30 IAP 225. How to create another virtual controller without affect current virtual controller? Thanks in advance.

First get the 225s on another VLAN (not the one with your production VC) , then match the InstantOS installed on your 105 Cluster and then maken make one of the IAP105s your Preffered Master after that you can move the 225s that you want to be part of your current cluster.

After those are part of the cluster then you can build a mesh link between the IAP225 and IAP105's, and then remove the Preferred Master option from one of your IAP105s

To build another Cluster you just need to place the new IAPs in a new VLAN and those will form their own cluster

thanks for your reply. If the existing IAP cluster is IAP 93 cluster, and it already reach max IAP --total 16 IAP93, then, can we just set IAP 225 cluster in the same VLAN as IAP93 Cluster? 

The no. of IAP in IAP cluster 225 is not limited ,right? IAP 93 can join IAP cluster? Thanks.

The limit will be set to 16 because the IAP9x is part of the cluster.

You need to build another cluster with IAP225s if you already have 16 IAPs in your existing cluster

Thanks. If the IAP9x cluster already exist, then I configure  all 3 IAP225 as standalone, then connect it to the same VLAN, it will affect IAP9x cluster?  This 3 IAP225 can aslo work fine? Thanks in advance. 

Standalone IAP works as a master controller? It will affect IAP9x ,right?
