Re: how to elect an IAP to master and how to let the other IAP join

You need:

(1) a DHCP server for both APS

(2) Both APs need to be in the same subnet

(3) Both APS need to be on the same version of code

(4) If the Early Deployment version of code, they may need to be manually updated to be on the same version of code using software here:  http://support.arubanetworks.com/DOCUMENTATION/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Command/Core_Download/Default.aspx?EntryId=2569

Please read more instructions on setup here:  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Community-Tribal-Knowledge-Base/For-the-Beginner-Aruba-Instant-IAP-Basic-setup/ta-p/80744
