    Hi,

I recently set up Aruba wifi in a new building and we have two 3200 controllers in active/active redundancy mode. I followed the VRD as closely as I could so we have an active/active setup with two VRRP instances and the ap's loadbalanced between the two controllers. The issue is that it seems like the clients have to reauth whenever they roam to an ap thats active on the other controller. This kind of makes sense as the client table for each controller only displays clients connected to ap's that are active on that cluster member. Is there a way to improve this so that reauth isn't necessary if a client roams from one cluster member to the other?

    Thanks for any help,

    Michael

If you are authenticating via captive portal, you will have that issue.  Anything else, like 802.1x or any preshared key network, you should not have that problem.
