    hello Airheads,

anyone know if it's possible to power a mesh portal (model number 277) from a 802.11at power injector?

We have tried but the logs say no radios coming up because lldp couldn't negotiate power capability.

i am thinking maybe disabling lldp for this AP. ANY IDEAS? Cheers

    pete

What model power injector are you using?

    hi Colin,

we are trying to work out if the device is 802.11at compatible. The literature is a bit ambiguous.

we are sourcing another power injector.

    cheers

The datasheet here;  https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/EntryId/17321/Default.aspx says that it is 802.3at compatible.  You also might want to check your cabling to be sure...

That injector is not AF/AT compliant. See attached datasheet.
