    Can you move licenses from an old controller to a new controller?

    Yes, you can transfer most licenses in the license site.  Those licenses being  LIC-AP, LIC-RFP, LIC-WIP, LIC-PEF, LIC-PEFNG.

     

    This is done when decomissioning a controller (e.g. for RMA purposes).

     

    Is that the scenario you have in mind ?

    Well not exactly we upgraded controllers recently and we had a few licenses left on the old one. Just to save a bit of cash it would be good to move the licenses over?

    Ok.


    As long as the licenses are ONLY used on one controller at once you will be compliant with the EULA and all will be good.
