Hello, we have a 3200 controller running OS 6.1.3.1 and several 105 and 135 ap's

It seems that users cannot access networkfolders or assign print jobs via the wireless connections. Probably it has got to do with netbios or smb traffic. How can I change this?

More and more clients use devices that only connect wireless.

    regards, Fons

are you dropping broadcasts at the virtual ap profile?

    Hi,

No, as far as I can see (Configuration > Ap Group > Edit "Virtual AP") there is no mark in the "drop broadcast and multicast" selection box.

Make sure "Deny inter user traffic" is NOT enabled on the Virtual AP profile.

Make sure that under Configuration> Advanced Services> Stateful Firewall "Deny Inter User Bridging" and "Deny Inter User Traffic" are NOT enabled.

    Hi,

    Non of them is enabled.

all these settings are pretty much default.

It might be a more fundamental problem rather than Aruba config specifc?

Have you tried some basic things like pinging the servers, then nslookup, then a manual drive mapping? How does that look if you try?

Also, what does the firewall role of the users in that state look like? Allow-all rules or different?

    Hi,

I'm not on location now. as soon as I'm on location I will try the standard network stuff via the wireless connection.
