Okay im trying to convert it and its not working...

I got RAPs 2 already working properly

But when i try to convert a rap 3 which is on instant mode to remote AP and i put the controller public ip address its not working...

I got  4500 and tftp port open....

it send me a message that the vpn setup failed....

There is anything else it need to be done for this convertion?

The controller needs to be on the 6.1.4.1 code designed for RAP3s for this to work.

Collin where do i get this firmware?

the lastest one i can see is

Release 6.1.3.5

i can see the 6.1.4.0 on fips folder but on the normal folder on Aruba OS is not there... on gneeral i see that one i said before on technology folder got something of airgroup and on technology folder in aruba os is empty...

6.1.4.x is in Controlled Release for pilot testing.  Please contact Aruba TAC to obtain a copy.  6.1.4.x will be rolled into 6.2 GA which should be available before the end of the year.

So to use rap 3 as a remote AP  i need to use a pilot testing version?

If so its no good for production network i guess... at least not yet...

is rap 3 a really new product or something?

RAP-3WN began shipping mid / late July '12.

there will be no more revisions for .6.1.3.x?

6.1.4.x is branch based on 6.1.3.x.

6.1.3.x is an active branch.......6.1.3.5 was just released a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not sure if there will be a 6.1.3.6 or if we will go straight to 6.2 at this point which should be out soon.
