rft test safe to run on functional ap-mode?

Per the IAP docs: Run these commands only under the supervision of an Aruba support representative.

I'm assuming I can safely ignore that recommendation, but I'm curious, are 'rft test' commands safe to run on a live AP that has clients attached to it?  Or does it need to be an air monitor?  What about the client it's testing against.  Will it affect their connection noticeably?

Thanks!

It can be run when it is in AP Mode, yes.  It should not disrupt the client.
