traceroute to RAP

    I have been doing some troubleshooting for a customer and noticed that a traceroute to the DG of the RAP comes to a satisfactory conclusion, however a traceroute to the RAP does not complete. The RAP is working fine and responding to pings, but I just wanted to know why there was no reply to the traceroute from the RAP.

    Are you trace routing to the inner or outer IP? Inner most likely won't trace.

    Actually the traceroute to the inner ip does work, im running the traceroute from the cli of the controller the RAP is terminating on - I didnt think to try that. However originally I was asking about the outer IP - its in the same subnet as the DG.
