    What are the radio orientation for an AP-134? I'm trying to connect antennas.

    The AP itself can be mounted any way that you want. Antenna mounting and orientation will depend on what area you are trying to cover and what antenna type you are using.

    On the AP, I need to know which SMA connector (ANT0, ANT1, ANT2) are the 2.4 and 5.0 radios. Sorry, I didn't explain my question. I have a Mobile Access DAS and the MA860 unit connects to the AP. It has a 2.4 channel and a 5.0 channel.

    If you need to split out 2.4 vs 5, you’ll need diplexers.

    That with the Mobile Access device will do. If that's the case then it shouldn't matter where the connect on the AP. I'm just comparing the AP134 to the AP124 which does have specific radio connectors.

    Both the 124 and 134 (and 204/214/224) all use diplexed connectors. So all 2x2 and 3x3 indoor AP models use all the connectors for both 2.4 and 5GHz. What is of importance to you (for DAS) is which antenna connector is the primary chain. In that case, from the AOS user guide, the AP-134's primary chain is ANT-0 (which is the far-left connector if the connectors are up/on top. See the AOS userguide, searching for 'single-chain' for images. And any unconnector RP-SMA connectors should be properly temrinated with a dummy load. Finally, if your DAS is single-chain, it's likely smart to provision the AP in single-chain mode as well, but you should still cap the ANT1/2 connectors anyway.

    The DAS device that I'm connecting the AP's to have both a 2.4 and a 5.0 input. I currently have ANT0 of the AP connecting to the 2.4 input of the DAS and the ANT1 connecting to the 5.0 input.

    Not sure how that will work, or if it will work well, if you're not splitting out the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. As it is, you are essentially pumping 2x2 11n from ANT0 and ANT1 into your DAS without filtering (unless your DAS includes the filtering/loading on unused frequencies within each connector).

     

    At least you have your answer though :)

    The DAS is spliting the signal.
