Best Wireless Card or Dongle Dual-Radio?

I am looking to purchase a dongle or wireless card (preferrably USB dongle) for my laptop.

I am not sure which offers the best price performance.

I obviously need something that is dual-radio 2.4 and 5

802.11ac is a bonus but not sure if these dongles are mature enough...

What do you recommend?

Re: Best Wireless Card or Dongle Dual-Radio?

I bought the following a couple of months ago and its been pretty good :

http://support.linksys.com/en-us/support/adapters/AE3000

I haven't had any good experience with the 11ac USBs ( Netgear , Linksys , Asus) but I read in a couple forums that some of those issues have been addressed with newer firmware

Thank you

Seems like a good product, I can find one for $55, worth it to try it out.

Thanks Victor

Re: Best Wireless Card or Dongle Dual-Radio?

Do you guys know any wireless dongle dual radio in which the manufacters actually care about firmware upgrades?

I got a AE3000 but linksys does not care about the firmware upgrades... for example i put it on a windows 8 machine and yes i got it to work but as there is no drivers for windows 8 the max speed i get its 54mbps... when the dongle is capable of 450 in a band...

Cheers

Carlos
