trying to have nagios ask the controller for specific information on the AP's deployed in the enterprise. these people do not have access to airwave so an opensource solution was specified. tried changing to .txt and .mib still doesn't like the command. are the .my files only for airwave and/or is there a .mib file available?

How are you specifying them on the command line? You'll need both -M and -m.

    Hi Norman,

Been trying a few different ones and didn't have much success. Seems when I
do only the OID # I get what I want. Maybe that's just the way to do it?

Have to admit I didn't do both until you suggested.

    [root@rhmonitor01 mibs]# snmpwalk 10.3.77.103 -v2c -c generous -m all -M
    ./usr/share/snmp/mibs/aruba-wlan.my wlsxWlanAPTable

No log handling enabled - turning on stderr logging

wlsxWlanAPTable: Unknown Object Identifier (Sub-id not found: (top) ->
    wlsxWlanAPTable)
