    Dear Experts,

At one of the customer, we have installed number of 207/303 APs. The Radio LED is green blinking. I checked the guide and it mentioned below. Can someone advise what might be the problem? what is meant by one radio in "access mode" what is access mode?

If the radio LED is blinking green, one of the radios is in air monitor or spectrum analysis mode, while the other is serving WLAN clients (access mode), as configured.

    Thanks Onno,

This should not be the case. Can it be due to some error? or this can only be set through configuration?

I mean is it possible that maybe the AP is not getting the required PoE from switch and turning one radio to AM?

If you run the command 'show aps' this will show you if the AP is in Access/Monitor/Spectrum mode along with if the radios are broadcasting. Both the AP207/AP303 require 802.3af power. You mentioned this should not be the case, by default Access mode is the default mode of the radios.

Is it possible that the AP is configured for a country where there are no channels allowed in either band (regulatory)? That would force it into AM mode.

Since IAP-207 is OK from basic (802.3af) POE, insufficient power should not be an issue. System LED is solid green?
