Hello everyone, i just got 3 IAP's setup in my environment and attempted to update the firmware only to be met by "Received no response from server" , my certificate expires Aug 11 of 2017; i saw in another thread if this was expired it wouldnt work.
I can SSH into the IAP's and ping google with no issue, but i still cant reach out for updates.
Current version is 22.214.171.124-126.96.36.199_46028 , they are all IAP 205's
You cannot see the certificate that has expired. I just sent you a link.
Awesome! Yea that firmware did the trick, and i can now reach the update server where it says no update.
I have the same problem too, i connect for SSH to de iap, and from iap ping to internet, but when i check firmware "no response from server"
What version of Firmware are you running? As a possible fix to your problem, you can upgrade to the version here: http://support.arubanetworks.com/LifetimeWarrantySoftware/tabid/121/DMXModule/661/EntryId/21998/Default.aspx
i Have two models in my network the iap 105 and the iap 103, is the same firmware?
No. Please look at the diagram here:
105 is Orion and 103 is Pegasus.
thanks!!, but how can i upload the firmware from a file?, in the url can i put a ftp internal address?
Yes, you need to have an ftp internal address for both. It must be an anonymous ftp with no username and password. A tftp server might be easier, because it doesn't use a password. Use the format:
I have the same problem. I succesfully manually updated the access points to the most current software, 188.8.131.52-4.2.3, but the virtual controller still cannot access the update server for some reason. Checked the firewall, I don't think the problem is there, So what else should I check?
I understand that, but why would the update server not respond at all?
That is a good question. Can you even ping device.arubanetworks.com?
This is from the master, connecting through the virtual controller IP.
