We have IAP-305, -315 and -365Outdoor access points in our district. All are currently running firmware version 8.6.0.6-8.6.0.6_77124.
We just purchased an AP-577EX and an AP-575EX for one of our buildings. It appears that the minimum firmware version for these if in the 8.7 series, so in order to add them to an existing instant cluster we will need to upgrade the current virtual controller to 8.7.x.x.
Is there a recommended version of 8.7 to go to from 8.6.0.6?

    Thanks.

Hi, ariyap - a quick question: are you aware of any issues with the 8.7.1.3 firmware version for IAPs? We upgraded to that version from 8.6.0.6 on two of our IAP clusters and almost immediately began receiving thousands of alerts in AirWave of this type:

    meshd[6290]: meshd_anulmesh_link_table_check: LINE 2 no
    peer MAC
    meshd[6290]: meshd_anulmesh_link_table_check: LINE 1
    link mode<Bridge> is not WIFI

    meshd[6290]: meshd_anulmesh_link_table_check: open
    anulmesh link table succeed

The only way I could stop them was to remove the alert trigger from AirWave. Do you happen to know if this a known issue with this firmware version?

    Thanks.

    jk
