IAP multicast question

    Hi all, Im doing some testing with multicast in my iap (8.5.0.2)

    So I have setup a stream (with VLC) between a wireless and wired client on the same VLAN and can see the stream using the show ip igmp command on the cli.
    But the results I have are not quite what I expected.

    Here are my results with different SSID settings:
    Setting 1:
    Broadcast filtering Disabled
    Multicast transmission optimalization Disabled
    Dynamic multicast optimalization Disabled.
    Airgroup settings: AllowALL

    Result: multicast stream is not working
    So here I expected to multicast to work because broadcast filtering is disabled. (and I read in the manual that it is used for multicast as well)



    Setting 2:
    Broadcast filtering Disabled
    Multicast transmission optimalization Enabled
    Dynamic multicast optimalization Disabled
    Airgroup settings: AllowALL

    Result: multicast stream is not working


    Setting 3:
    Dynamic multicast optimalizationDisabled

    As expected the stream works with all different settings if "broadcast filtering" because its converted from multicast to unicast.



    So I'm not sure why setting 1 and 2 are not working. Some tips and tricks here?
