We have a cluster of 505 APs, and Im wondering if there's a way to recover the admin password? I do have config files but the password is in a hash if that's an option

you should be able to do password recovery with the help of TAC.
here is more info on mgmt user password hashing

If the password is hashed, you cannot retrieve the password. In the case you have the configuration, one option is to factory reset one of your APs in an isolated network so it will not join the cluster and sync the configuration. Then on that isolated AP restore the configuration, except for the hashed password. Set your new password. Add the other APs to the new virtual controller (or shut down all the APs, bring up the AP with your new configuration, make sure it is the Virtual controller, then power on the other APs again to join the cluster and get the new configuration).

There is no password recovery, for the reason that all the APs have the same configuration with possible secret information like admin accounts, IP addresses, ACLs, radius secrets, and if someone gets possession of one of your AP you don't want that configuration to be accessible.

Factory reset, then restore the configuration is a valid path.
