Controllerless Networks

Good day

Hoping to get an answer as regards if the Aruba Instant IAP-305 (RW) can be used in our US office. We have 2 spares in our Canada office of the Aruba Instant IAP-305 (RW) that we want to use to expand WiFi coverage in the US office. I know these are labelled RW for Rest of the World just wondering if thgere any limitations with using them in the US.

No, that will not work (unless you use them with a controller and convert them to controller-based APs).
-RW Instant access points do not allow selection of the US country code, and they cannot join a US IAP cluster.
This is to be compliant with FCC regulations (country selection flexibility is not allowed in the US).

Correct, the (US) in the part name denotes it is for the US.
