    Hello community,

we have been asked if it is possible to install serveral new Aruba InstantON Accesspoints in a existing
Network already running an Instant Cluster with multiple 305 IAPs.

Im aware best practise is to add more instant APs of the 300 Series.
Im also aware that these systems are not compatible at all, since Instant APs are an Enterprise product while InstantON APs are not.

However im very concerned about running both Products in the same network will cause issues for the existing Instant cluster or renders the InstantON not working at all.  Especially since we have been asked to provide SSIDs which are already running on the Instant Cluster over the InstantONs aswell.
One of them is also zoned. (Afaik zones are not supported on the InstantON Series)

Anyone made experienced with a similar mixed setup?

    Thank you in advance!

for sure it is going to negatively impact the users especially when the users roam from one Instant AP to InstantON AP that is advertising the same SSID.
I would not recommend mixing them.
