    Hello,

We currently use AP 300 series along with AP-MNT-C1 mount kit which is rail mount kit. We are now looking for 500 series AP, can anyone confirm which will be the equivalent mount kit. I could see Type A,B and C are available in rail mount but which one will be equivalent or similar to AP-MNT-C1. thanks in advance

    See this link: https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Default.aspx?EntryId=31544

The Aruba AP-MNT-MP10 Indoor Access Point Mount Kits.pdf will tell you what you need to know for each mount type available from Aruba.

I mount hundreds of APs on grid ceilings at work, but I'm scared to run cable and do it at home. Punching a hole from the attic seems awful permanent. Drilling screws from the mounting bracket seems okay, once. What about when I upgrade the AP? The new bracket will likely leave holes where the screws were. What about when I sell the house? If I take the AP down there will now be a random hole.

    Any thoughts?

Plaster or spackle repair kit? :) Either way you need to make a hole for the cable no?
