You would configure the controller port to either receive its address via DHCP like a client would from your router, or you would set a static address that is excluded from your routers DHCP pool. Then you would configure your WLANs to use separate DHCP scopes hosted on the controller in VLANs other than your controllers uplink (VLAN 1 by default). Then your uplink port that has either a DHCP assigned or static address, would be set to NAT the wireless traffic to your controllers address.

Yes you can connect it to your internet router, and NAT clients as they leave the controller. You will be limited to what version of software you can run, and both devices are no longer under support.

I'm in college and wanting to build my own network. I have a ap105 not iap so it requires a controller.
2 the controller i looked at is a 3200 controller.
3 can I use this controller with the ap105 and connect it to my internet router? Or do I need additional Hardware?
