    Hi
recently we have had a lot of problems with our iap 115 network. one AP at a time looses connectivity. all client looses internet, but they dont switch AP. They stick to the misfunctioning AP. After some minuts the internet is back, or we can restart the ap, and the internet is back. As part of the troubleshooting i have upgraded to version 6.5.4.20_80109 recently, but it dosent seem to help. We also got new backbone switches because we thought the isssue were there. It helped a little, but the problem is still there.

We have tried out different configuration for broadcastfiltering and minimum and maximum transmit power, and also clientmatch or not.

anyone who have an idea for the best configuration for these parameters, or maybe some other fix.

we cant see why this happends. Maybe a lot of new clients with new OS ....?? no problems last schoolyear.

    kind regards Thomas Jørgensen

when you say the users lose internet connectivity, it could be caused by so many thing like
    - WiFi Association issues
    - Authentication issues
    - DNS name resultiion
    - DHCP issues
    - LAN switch issues (VLAN, ACL, etc)
    - routing issues with the router.

most of them are not WiFi related. you need to narrow it down.

    Hi
Im sure its related to wifi association. Maybe too much traffic on one ap and they dont handle to roam clients effectively.
    kind regards Thomas J.

Best to work with your Aruba partner or Aruba Support in that case. Based on the available information, without having access to the environment, configuration and logging, it is hard to provide an answer.
