    Hi,

I have a couple of IAP's in a cluster and only the IAP-315 is showing the 2.4 radio disabled with the wireless LED on the AP is blinking.

How can i figure out why this is happening? I tried switching the mode from monitor, spectrum and back to access but the problem persists....

5G radio seems to be working fine do....

Try "show log driver" on that AP.

    Hi,

Below the output of the log. I scanned it but cannot see anything strange?

    34:fc:b9:c7:43:a0# show log driver

I see the same output on one of my APs, and there the SSID has been only enabled on 5GHz. Are you sure that you are broadcasting at least one SSID on the 2.4GHz?

As i do have some 2.4G only devices its on, this is the output of my VC:

Weird... do you have a clue where that 'change password to a private one' comes from? I assume you have set the password?

Also, I don't see any information about the 2.4GHz radio (radio 1 / wifi1) in the logs you shared, so it seems that there isn't even an attempt to enable the radio.

Did you tweak the ARM/radio settings? The power levels for 2.4 and 5GHz are all over the place, which indicates manual setting or range overrides.

Are you on a recent firmware version? If you are, it may be good to have TAC a look at this deployment.

Its all as default as it can be.... Im on 8.6.0.9 which should not be showstopper for the 2.4G radio on one of the 4 AP's i reckon.

    I will check with TAC....

@mbaars Did you ever find a way to resolve this problem?  I appear to have the exact same issue with a pair of IAP-315s.  The 5G radio on both units works fine, but the 2.4G radio only works on one of them.  I have delved through the settings and do not see anything that would preclude the 2.4G radio from being enabled.  Curious if you were successful in resolving this issue.  Thanks!
