Hi! what do you mean with "compatibility"? are you planning to use CISCO Transceiver into HPE Aruba 5400R zl2 Switch? ...if so forget better.
Aruba supports its own HPE Aruba Transceivers...the ArubaOS-Switch operating system allows unsupported transceivers (just a reference here) BUT this absolutely doesn't mean that HPE Aruba is granting you they will work (as original supported ones) and/or they will not damage your HPE Aruba Switch during use (read: they can work but then, if something broke or doesn't work as you expect, anything bad that could happen related to unsupported Transceivers is up to you...no grant, no support...or very limited).
If - instead - you're asking: I will use Cisco on Cisco and Aruba on Aruba...then I will interconnect Cisco and Aruba by means of a fiber optic cable...then no issue...provided that you match the type of Transceivers (media/speed)...so, as example, a Cisco SFP+ Short Range Transceiver will connect to an Aruba SFP+ Short Range Transceiver through a good OM3 Fibre Optic Multi-Mode cable...that's just an example.
