Sooooo, we've update Airheads a bit. This new version of the community brings in a lot of great feature to enhance your experience with the community

What do you think about it and how does it work for you? Please let us know how your experience with the new UI and features is going. If you do have any feedback, suggestions, or problems please let us know and we will do our best to get it sorted out for you.

Here is some supporting content to help navigate the changes.

I just started exploring the new site, but it looks much more modern, and I really enjoy the new interface. I also love the fact we can get daily emails with new topics posted, that makes it a lot easier to see if someone posted something I'm interested in, as opposed to going and looking through all the discussions every day.

Really great job and I appreciate everyone who worked to bring this together!

One question though, is the idea of "kudos weight" gone? On the old site, when I would give kudos the "score" would increase by I believe 2 points, but on the new site it's just one point (Or was it maybe just reset?)

Thanks for the feedback @cwickline14, this platform has a different definition of a "kudo". With this platform its thought of as "suggested content" We rebranded to keep the concept consistent with the last version of Airheads, bet me double check and make sure we cant weight this.

    Hi,

I purchased a instant on 1930 and tried to log on to the instant on community. I don't belong to a business hence do not have support contacts and such so at the mercy of the community and Aruba web site(s).
Long story short my cloud portal account somehow did not allow me access to the instanton community why not sure. I ended up at this community and before I knew it I had created an account at the wrong community(airheads) I need this account deleted (goaks8128@Gmail.com) ASAP..i haven't been able to find the delete option....can anyone assist please?

Is there any plan to fix the broken links returned by google search? Every Airheads result from a google search brings me to a "Page Not Found" error.

@martinpoulin Are you still seeing this behavior? We redirected ~527k links and it took a while to complete but in testing  we have since found that everything seems to be redirected. If you have a link that you're still having trouble with let me know and we will figure it out.

I notice that when looking at my contributions I have zero post.  I was specifically looking for a post I submitted last Thursday but I can't find it to provide an update.  Looks like I have never posted before.  Is this the expected behavior or are all the old post stats carried over to the new release?

Also I had to subscribe to daily emails to post this response on the (yes there was an option to no get any emails) but what does this mean exactly?   Am I going to get a daily email for all post in this area or just daily emails on this thread I am subscribing to by adding a post?

I like the new look of the page. It really looks modern now.
Is there a way to see all unread posts like in the old version? I could not find it.

Definitely, the look and feel is nicer and  more modern..

However, it will take me some time to get used to the navigation..

I also prefer to see all posts under one page..

Is it possible to have the email preferences updated in such a way that it was similar to the older forum. Unless i'm mistaken we don't seem to have the ability to receive email notification just for threads that you've commented on? it seems to be a case of all or nothing?

Herman, no changes although I do suspect something may have prevented delivery as I also received a large number of email for replies to topics (this thread for example). I will investigate this, but i do believe that everyone should be receiving notifications for all threads you have participated in. If you haven't please let me know.

The new Airheads Community pages look great! I joined several discussions - choosing no email digest - and they were gone the next day.. Could have been something I did wrong but wanted to mention.

Also, did the "MVP of the Decade 2020" badges get dropped during the transition or they are redacted? Of course, this community is not all about collecting badges but I thought this particular badge was a great one!

    Thanks!

And for the MVP badges, you will have them soon, we are reapplying everything now. No way were gonna drop an MVP of the decade badge.

    Hi Jamie,

I have three questions about the new Airheads:

    1. Will we see the title of the person who is writing or replying a post (MVP, New Contributor, etc.)? Or that feature is lost?
    2. When I go to my contributions, I see all of them, but I see all my replies (RE: ) separately in the list. Can we see a list of our contributions in a collapsed mode like in the old Airheads? It is much more confortable to see and search a post.
    3. If I choose "No Email" for a community because I don't want to receive emails, and I write a post in that community, will I receive by email the replies?

We're working on the title, this feature didn't work quite the same as it did prior to the update.  For the contributions, Ill see if there is anything we can do.  And the last bit, if you respond to a post you will receive a notification regardless of your digest settings.

I am finding that the discussions I joined are now saying that I have insufficient privileges to even view the discussion list. I am logged into the community and can see my profile. I have tried several groups all say the same..

On the login page, I put in my email address, then the password box comes up.

    1. That's annoying. Can the user and password fields be on the same page?
    2. When the password is entered, the ORANGE button is the one I tend to click, but that's the SIGN UP button instead of sign in?? More annoying than #1
    Hmm...

Thanks @Craig Syme for tagging me. The way we have these notifications set up you should be receiving 2 different types of notifications. The first is a digest, this was configured when you joined a topic community (wireless access, cloud networking, etc..). The second type is the notification for posts you respond to.

Let me see if there is something preventing you from receiving these email currently.

    Hey @Jamie E!
    Hope you are well!
Any chance they might add a search function at the top navigation of each community discussion (see snip) ? It would be great to be able to search right there rather than wrestle with the filters of the site search.
