By Light is seeking an experienced Wired and Wireless LAN Systems Engineer to perform network design, development, installation/configuration, packaging, testing, implementing, and Tier 3 level troubleshooting of multi-vendor network-related equipment, including Aruba and Cisco, in support of government solutions ranging from single stand-alone to large-scale enterprise environments.
The primary responsibilities for this position include all efforts involved with engineering (designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing) various WLAN/LAN task orders involving wireless network solutions. Additionally, the candidate will participate in capturing and analyzing technical requirements; documenting detailed system designs, implementation plans, and operations guides of network systems; participate in both project and operational meetings; providing Tier 3 level support utilizing change control processes. The candidate will also serve as a reach-back to field installation teams supporting a variety of infrastructure projects.
