    Hi community.

I ´m loss with a issue in my Aruba 8320.

When i enable spanning-tree mode rpvst with those command:

    spanning-tree mode rpvst
    spanning-tree

and  then i put the command "show spanning-tree" it´s say the follow:

    CORE# show spanning-tree
Spanning tree status : Enabled Protocol: RPVST
    Extended System-id : Enabled
    Ignore PVID Inconsistency : Enabled
    Path cost method : Long
Current Virtual Ports Count : 0
Maximum Allowed Virtual Ports : 2048
    No STP instance present.

NO STP INSTANCE PRESENT, why does say this?

when i try to configure a priority for some vlan it's say the same.

    CORE(config)# spanning-tree vlan 102 priority 15
Error : STP instance not present for one or more VLANs.

how can i enable rpvst instance in the aruba 8320?

Is there any way to enable spanning tree for all active VLANs in the switch now? Is it required to enables spanning tree instance for each VLAN after creating the VLAN? This is an extra step in VLAN creation process that need to be don eon every and each switch.

No you have to specify the VLANs:

If you have contiguous vlan (ex: vlan 10 to VLAN 99), you can use the command
    spanning-tree vlan 10-99

For non-contiguous VLANs, just enter the list of VLANs in a single command like below:

    switch-A(config)# sh vlan

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VLAN Name Status Reason Type Interfaces
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1 DEFAULT_VLAN_1 up ok default lag256
    1115 VLAN1115 up ok static lag1,lag256
    1125 VLAN1125 up ok static lag2,lag256

    switch-A(config)# spanning-tree vlan 1,1115,1125

Hi, as written by Alexis you need to set the VLAN(s) on the RPVST+ mode:
