Correct, or the other way around: if a port is configured as stacking port, it is hidden as normal port and can't be configured.
By default, the uplink 2 and 3 are configured as stacking port, and you can remove them to make them available again as normal interface.
Similar, you can configure other ports (even the 1Gbps copper ports) as stacking port, at which point they are removed as normal interface.
