    Hi,

Having an issue where i enter the command for remote mirror and the switch is saying the ip address isnt configured on the switch when it is. I ran this a few months ago and everything worked so not sure whats going on.

    mirror 1 remote ip 10.1.1.130 9999 10.1.1.75

The destination switch must be configured before proceeding.

Has the remote switch been configured (y/n)? y

Source IP address 10.1.1.130 is not configured on this switch.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the management interface as the source, or another interface/SVI?

We are using the management VLAN address as the source IP

I don't believe you can use the mgmt interface as your source. Have you tried with a VLAN or physical interface address?
