Greetings!
An Aruba CX switch managed by Central in either a UI configuration group or a template group
with a template applied to the switch cannot be configured by an external platform, including AFC, as any configuration changes made by that platform will be overridden by the Central-managed configuration.
If you would like to use Central only to
monitor a CX switch, you can add it to a template group with no templates that apply to that switch model (or no templates at all); Central will receive monitoring data from the switch and be able to run troubleshooting commands, but no configuration changes will be initiated by Central as there is no applicable template to push.

Subject: Aruba-CX 8325/8360 with Aruba Central and Fabric Composure
Question for the experts :)
When a Aruba_CX 8325/8360 is managed by Aruba Central can we still use it combined with Aruba Fabric Composure?
Related to this question, its it otherwise possible to use Aruba Central in monitor mode only and use Aruba Fabric Composure for configuration?
