Clearpass limit device count per user

    HI, im creating 802.1x ssid with authentication to clearpass. I tried to limit the device per user using unique device count, but on access tracker, the unique device count always stays at 1.

    I have added endpoint repository as authorization source.

    Any idea?

    Have you enabled Insight? And have you enabled RADIUS Log Interim Accounting?

    That might be needed for this.

    Also, check that the username used is exactly the same on both devices that you prevent to get on the network.

    Hi herman, yes i have enabled insight. Also the RADIUS Log Interim Accounting is enabled in controller. And yes, the username is the same.

    Maybe best to work with TAC to have a look. There probably is some misconfiguration.

    And for some requirements, it may be good to 'educate the customer' that their requirement may sound nice, but in practice will create usability issues with their users.
